A Mantel a Month: March St. Patrick's Day Mantel

This is the first year I've ever decorated for St. Patrick's Day. Writing a craft and decorating blog= suddenly caring about St. Patrick's Day decorations. I have to admit that I enjoyed decorating and I like to think I found a non-tacky way to decorate for this holiday. Green is one of the main accent colors in our house, so that's a bonus!

What's On My Mantel

Above the Mantel

St. Patrick's Day clover and flower wreath. Click here to read the tutorial for this wreath.

Left side

Candle and candleholder, Yarn "O", and St. Patrick's Day Glitter Vase.

Center

Picture of the little guy on his first St. Patrick's Day. I made this frame a few years ago. To do it, I took an unfinished wood frame and painted it green. Then I glued small mosaic tiles to the frame. I skipped grouting the tiles, because I liked the look of it.

Right side

Pitcher from Crate and Barrel outlet, Burlap and Clover picture, candle and candleholder.

What do you think? Have you put together a St. Patrick's Day mantel?
